Jobs. Resumes. Business cards. (A redone) portfolio site. Where do I start?
The logical place is a mark. I’ve been trying over the year to make my initials “K” and “L” into a neat, concise, mark. After sketches and doodles that have spanned 4 years, inconsistently, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m better off using my full name instead. Considering I should have been moving on this very important step weeks ago, why belabor the point …
Once I finally got over that hurdle, I started researching logo inspiration and playing around in my sketchbook as well as Photoshop. I ended up moving to Cinema4D.
I like the direction this is going in, however it’s far from polished. More time, more time … Refinement is key. Perhaps color will enter into the next iteration. I’m still not too thrilled about the font choices, but it’s getting there.
